Create a Policy

From Networking & Security → Firewall Policies, use the Create policy panel on the left:

1. Enter a Name (e.g. Web server, Staging Server)
2. Add an optional Description (e.g. HTTP and SSH access)
3. Click + Create policy

The policy appears in the table on the right. It has no rules and is not attached to anything yet.

Next steps

• Add allow rules to define what traffic is permitted
• Attach the policy to a VM or database
